ALLEGED murder mastermind Dina Rodrigues's senior counsel turned up the heat on the teenager who had implicated her in the crime, focusing on claims that he was offered R20 000 not to testify.
In the Cape High Court yesterday the teenager, Bonginkosi Sigenu, now 18, insisted he had been asked not to testify, and was promised R20 000 as well as the R5 000 Rodrigues allegedly still owed the group of four men for allegedly carrying out the murder of six-month-old Jordan Leigh Norton.
An application not to have the teenager identified was dismissed yesterday.
